Blood Mudang

They say the living call her a Mudang, but the dead… they whisper another name — the Guide.

In the late days of the Joseon Dynasty, when fear clouded reason and the court turned its eyes from the old ways, the mudangs — priestesses of spirit and blood — were branded as witches.
One by one, they were hunted. Silenced. Cast into nameless graves, their souls bound in agony.

But one among them did not vanish.

She opened herself to the fury of the slain, allowing their restless spirits to take root within her.
And in doing so, she became something no longer wholly human.

Now, they speak of her in hushed tones — the Blood Mudang, a being who walks the twilight between the living and the dead.
She drives out evil spirits, binds the wrathful dead…
And when night falls, she becomes a bridge between worlds — guiding lost souls to the other side.
