Jobangjang

During the war, Jobangjang was entrusted with defending the fortress and its people. But when defeat became inevitable, he abandoned his soldiers and the townsfolk, fleeing alone to save himself.

After the battle, the ruined fortress was buried beneath the bodies of civilians, soldiers, and horses. As their blood and resentment intertwined, monsters began to emerge from the carnage.

Wounded and wandering through the ruins, Jobangjang drank the blood of a dying monster in a desperate attempt to survive. The blood prolonged his life, but corrupted both his body and mind. In time, his flesh physically fused with that of his warhorse.

Even after his transformation, he refused to admit that he had abandoned his people.

He believes he is not a defeated general, but a commander whose war has yet to end.

He now regards the ruined fortress as his military encampment, seeking to raise the fallen soldiers and monsters as an army under his command.
